First scene is between Jordan and Simone, when they talk about Jordan being on the phone with Layla several times while he is visiting Simone. The next scene is Simone telling her friend that Jordan spends time with Layla and she feels something is off between her and Jordan. Later Layla Simone shows up at the beach house where she finds Layla and Jordan on their way out. At Spencer’s apparel launch Layla asks Jordan for his help. Jordan follows Layla and leaves Simone standing alone. From a far she can see that there is some complicity between them. In the following scene, Jordan and Simone are at the beach house and Simone asks Jordan what's between him and Layla. Jordan answers that she is just a friend, but Simone is not convinced and she breaks up with him. Later at the football field Jordan tells his friends that he does not want to talk about the breakup anymore for today. Liv asks him to team up with her in a 2-2 game, but Jordan answers that he wants Layla. He quickly explains that they played together last week. In the next scene, Layla visits Jordan at the beach house as she hasn’t heard from him in weeks. She wants to make sure that he is not wallowing on his breakup with Simone. He tells her no everything is fine. At the Halloween party, Layla asks if he blames her for the breakup to which he answers no. He then explains that he stayed away as he tried to prove that Simone was wrong about him having feelings for Layla. He confess that he actually has feelings for her and that he thinks she also does. Finally, Jordan and Layla are at the beach house.
