In der Theorie würde er wohl tatsächlich mit Heizöl oder Rapsöl fahren – in der Praxis haben wir das natürlich nicht ausprobiert: der Volkswagen Golf 2 GTD mit Ladeluftkühler (LLK) und saftigen 80 Diesel-PS aus dem Baujahr 1990. Damals der schnellste und stärkste Serien-Dieselmotor, welcher im Golf 2 zu haben war. Robust, langlebig, agil und sparsam. Diese Eigenschaften werden dem Meisterstück aus Wolfsburg nachgesagt. Auch heute noch sicherlich nicht untermotorisiert, denn mit seinem geringen Gewicht von nur knapp 900 kg lässt er so manchen modernen Pkw locker stehen. Ganz ungefiltert weder mit Diesel-Kat noch Ad-Blue Zusatz. Einfach Heizöl… ääh Diesel in den Tank – und schon kann der Spass beginnen!
