Or get an additional 15GB for $50 that lasts 30-days… On the cheaper and smaller side, get a $5 daily pass with 1/2gig of high-speed data, and unlimited calling…. This pass works in over 215 countries VERIZON Verizon’s unlimited ultimate is the best for traveling, and their most expensive plan at $90/mo. But the travel perks are great with 2GB/day of high speed data in can/mex AND 10GB of high speed data/month in 215 other countries. You also get unlimited talk and text… and your data is technically unlimited though will slow substantially after after the high speed allotment is used up. If you’re looking for alacarte addon's, Verizon offers a well priced day pass… for $10 you can get 3-travel passes. Normally $10/each, you saver $20 on this addon to your plans. If you don’t use them, you can accrue up to 36 travel passes for a nice long adventure. We love a rollover!! If you don’t have an unlimited plan at verizon, you’ll have to pay $5/day for use of your phone in can/mex, and $10 anywhere else. It will automatically appear on your bill following the end of your current cycle. GOOGLE FI Google Fi is the cheapest of the travel plan options, and one of my favorites… they offer two really great plans for traveling, one is cheaper than the other… though if you’re not careful the costs add up quick. You can choose between a fully unlimited plan at $65/month and get full access to your phone around the world, or get the Flexible pay as you go plan with unlimited texting and calling starting at $20/month… you’ll be charged $10/gig you use up to 6 gigs, but can use up to 15Gigs. So in total you could end up paying $80/month if you’re not tracking your data… if you’re like me and see yourself eating up data quickly… it’ll be worth it to dish out the $65 upfront for the unlimited plan, then accidentally pay $80 when you use the flexible plan too often. Google fi’s unlimited plus plan gives you 50GB to use nearly anywhere in the world, plus you can share that data with other devices like smartwatches. You also have unlimited use of hotspot as long as you have data. VISIBLE MOBILE Visible is owned by Verizon and uses its parent company's network for coverage. The Visible Plus plan features unlimited data, including access to Verizon's high-speed 5G network. Travelers will be particularly interested in the unlimited talk, text and 2GB of daily data available through Visible Plus when traveling in Canada and Mexico. Visible Plus customers are also eligible for one free Global Pass day per month, in which they can use talk, text and data at no charge in 140 countries. Globla Passes normally cost $10.
