As I sit down to express my gratitude, words seem somewhat inadequate to convey the depth of my feelings; however, I will attempt to articulate my appreciation and happiness that fills my heart. It feels like just yesterday when I was talking to people about wanting to cover this, fuelled by passion, dedication, and a huge dream. And now, seeing our hard work come to fruition is nothing short of magical. To each and every one of you who contributed your time, energy, and talent to make this project a reality, I extend my sincerest gesture of gratitude. Your unwavering commitment and enthusiasm have been the driving force behind this all, and I am profoundly grateful for your support every step of the way. I want to say a huge thank you to Joojoo and Min for pushing this cover through, even in the toughest times when I was near canceling it. Nothing could have been better. I have no one else to thank for the most other than Reigh, who has always been my backbone in everything. I know that you are tired of my sappy words but this cover wouldn’t have been made possible if it wasn’t for you telling me that one night when we had dinner to just do it since this has been the biggest dream cover of mine. When this song came out 3 years ago during the COVID-19 pandemic, I vividly recall learning the dance in a heartbeat as the elements of vogueing and waacking really impressed me. And 3 years later, it was able to happen, with myself at the forefront of the cover which is so bizarre to me. From all the dancers who poured their hearts into perfecting every move, to Reigh who was working tirelessly on filming and editing this – thank you. Your collective effort and collaboration have transformed a simple idea into something truly extraordinary. Also wanted to say a cute thank you to Joon who participated for the bulk of the process but unfortunately had to drop out due to scheduling; and to Audrey and Alice for being in this initially too.
