I'm late to the party, but with the supposed benefit of 50+ years playing the trumpet, I am embarking on my first experience with a digital musical instrument, the R1 wind synthesizer from Robkoo. Asked to review a product I know nothing about, I view this as a musical experiment during which I endeavor to find out to what degree trumpet skills transfer to a wind synthesizer and how satisfying (hopefully) and/or frustrating (likely) the transition will be.
