#ShureMV7 #BlueYeti #PodcastMic Comparison between the brand new Shure MV7 Podcast mic and the venerable Blue Yeti. In this video, both mics were recorded over USB w/no post-processing other than volume normalization. The Shure picks up some boomy desk noises and movement. I think that's a result of having the mic mounted on a desk mount. I should have accounted for that better. The Yeti definitely had an advantage in being mounted on a stand free from the desk. On the other hand, I was surprised at how good the Yeti sounded.
