Hello YouTube, Here’s a quick and easy tutorial on replacing your Rear Brake Pads and Rotors on your 2012-2019 VW Passat. These pads and rotors were used on a variety of VW/Audi models so the process will be very similar to those cars. Just keep in mind that the part number changed from manufacture date 07-01-14 forward for the rear pads. Tools Needed: Impact gun 17mm socket 13mm ratcheting wrench 19mm wrench Pry tool Pick tool 14 XZN (Triple Square) Wire wheel / Drill Brake Caliper piston tool (rentable) Brake Caliper grease Blue Threadlocker Antisieze Torque Wrench We always order from FCPEuro since these parts are guaranteed for life and can be swapped out for free on the next service.
