Russ tends to annoy me in other books, but in this one it felt like he was finally fleshed out properly, and this scene is just... 👨‍🍳👌 I HAD to perform it. As the Sons of Horus and Space Wolves fight, we get to see a glimpse at an uncorrupted Horus Lupercal, and he and Leman Russ share a brief moment of pause in the heat of battle.
