Our Modern Tiny House Farmhouse in Rural South Africa - Guest House Full House Tour Welcome to my tiny home in rural South Africa! I'm so excited to share this project with you all. My tiny home is located on a beautiful 10-acre lot, overlooking the picturesque hills of the area. I love waking up to the sunrise as it appears over the hills, it's truly breathtaking. As you step inside, you'll notice the open concept kitchen and sitting area. The color scheme used is white and gray, giving it a bright and airy feeling. The kitchen is equipped with all the essentials, including a refrigerator and stove, and I added a beautiful island with a sink to make it extra functional. The sitting area is cozy and perfect for relaxing after a long day. The bedroom area is located at the other end of the home and includes a comfortable bed and built-in cupboards for storage. The bedding and decor were all bought from Mr. Price, a great local home decor store. And finally, the luxurious bathroom with a shower is a real highlight of the home. I love the modern fixtures and the clean, white tiles. The bathroom also includes built-in cupboards for additional storage. One of the best things about this tiny home is that it's only walking distance from the main house, making it perfect for guests or a private retreat. I hope you enjoyed the tour of my tiny home. We also have electricity and running water. Because we live in the village, water is a huge issue. So, we supplement government water with Jojo tanks that pump water into the house. This is off the grid living in its finest. We have running water, electricity and flushing toilets.
