This tutorial illustrates how to change a Bus Send from Pre to Post Fader on any given input channel. Basically, the X32 allows you to configure the Bus Sends, ( Pre, Post, Sub Group, etc. ), very quickly by using the Bus Pre Configuration window. Although the choices are diverse enough for most desired set-ups, you still might want to fine tune these templates a bit from time to time, and that’s where this tutorial comes in. It illustrates how to change a “Pre-Configured” Bus Send from Pre-Fader to Post Fader. It further explains that this will change ONLY the channel selected and NOT the entire Bus Send. Consequently, the send will remain set to Pre-Fader except for the aforementioned selected channel. NOTE: An example of when to use this feature, ( pre fader send except for a specific channel ), would be in a situation involving stage vocal monitors set to pre-fader. The band vocalists are singing to tracks which obviously need to fade out onstage while fading out through the house system, as well. Changing just the tracks feed to Post Fader will allow for this. The vocalist’s monitors will remain at a set volume and only the tracks will fluctuate contingent on the house mix. .
