In terms of farewells, it was a fittingly fierce one. After ten years together, Canadian post-hardcore kings Alexisonfire called it a day in 2011, but they weren't going out without a helluva party and one last tour. Australia was lucky enough to be one of just four countries they'd visit and Moshcam was lucky enough to capture their searing swansong in Sydney. Fuelled by the iron fist/velvet glove vocal combo of George Petit and Dallas Green, the band -- which also includes guitarist Wade MacNeil, bassist Chris Steele and drummer Jordan Hastings -- tore through a powerful 25-song salute that included incendiary hits like 'Accidents', 'Pulmonary Archery', 'Young Cardinals' and 'Drunks, Lovers, Sinners & Saints'. Despite the band's wishes, there was some sadness in the send-off. Of course, while Alexisonfire's flame may have been extinguished, the music and moments like this will always live on.
