Walking Tour in Yerevan, Armenia, A Summer Day, August 27, 2023, 4K 60fps

Welcome to another episode of OBSERVER, where I explore the world with my camera and share my experiences with you. In this video, I take you on a walking tour of Yerevan, the capital and largest city of Armenia. Yerevan is a vibrant and historic city, with a rich culture and a stunning landscape. It is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, dating back to the 8th century BC. It is also known as the “Pink City” because of the color of the volcanic rocks used to build many of its buildings. In this video, I show you some of the most popular and beautiful attractions in Yerevan, such as: Vardanyan's Park: It was opened on May 10, 2019, as a gift from Mikayel and Karen Vardanyan on the occasion of the 2800th anniversary of the foundation of Yerevan. The park covers an area of 1.5 hectares and features a fountain complex, a green area, statues, and a memorial. The park is also known as the Yerevan 2800th Anniversary Park. Republic Square: The main square of Yerevan, surrounded by impressive buildings such as the Government House, the History Museum, and the National Gallery. It also features a musical fountain that lights up at night. Abovyan Street: One of the oldest and most famous streets in Yerevan, lined with shops, cafes, restaurants, and hotels. It is also a popular spot for street performers and artists. Moscow Cinema: A historic cinema that opened in 1936 and hosted many Soviet and Armenian film premieres. It has a distinctive facade with a large clock and a red star. Tumanyan Street: A street named after Hovhannes Tumanyan, a prominent Armenian poet and writer. It has many cultural and literary landmarks, such as the Tumanyan House Museum, the Writers’ Union, and the Puppet Theater. Swan Lake: A small artificial lake near the Opera House, where swans swim and people relax. It also turns into an ice rink in winter. Opera House: A magnificent building that houses the National Opera and Ballet Theater of Armenia. It was designed by Alexander Tamanyan, the chief architect of Yerevan, and opened in 1933. France Square: A square that commemorates the friendship between Armenia and France. It has a fountain with a sculpture of a woman holding a dove, symbolizing peace. Cascade Complex: A massive stairway that connects the city center with the Monument neighborhood. It has five levels, each with different sculptures, fountains, and gardens. It also offers a panoramic view of the city and Mount Ararat. I hope you enjoy this video and get a glimpse of the beauty and charm of Yerevan.
