This means that Figure's humanoid robots, called Figure 01, will soon start working at BMW's manufacturing plant in South Carolina, alongside human workers. Figure BMW DEAL: Figure 01 is a humanoid robot that can walk, talk, and manipulate objects with its hands and fingers. It is designed to work in spaces that are built for humans, such as warehouses, factories, and retail stores. Figure 01 can perform a variety of tasks, such as picking, packing, sorting, loading, and unloading, using its advanced AI and perception. Another company, Agility Robotics, has created a robot called Digit, which is also a bipedal robot that can carry boxes and navigate uneven terrain. Figure 01 can also interact with human workers, such as following instructions, asking questions, and showing emotions, with its voice and screen. Figure BMW DEAL: By using Figure 01, BMW hopes to improve its productivity, efficiency, and safety in its manufacturing operations.
