VALERIAN & LAURELINE - EP01 - Time matters Valerian, a brilliant student at the Space-Time Academy, is finally assigned his first time-travel mission. His instructions are to travel back in time to the year 912, to the Early Middle Ages, and observe a village in Normandy, France. Violating Article n°3 which prohibits a space-time agent from modifying the past or the future, Valerian saves Laureline, a young street entertainer, from the clutches of cruel Lord Wilfred of Tancarville, and takes her on board his spacecraft, the Tempus Fugit. When he returns to 2417, he is horrified to discover the Earth has disappeared from the Solar System! What’s more, the space-time engine on the Tempus Fugit is shot!
