come with me to the Sahara Desert!!!!

another video!! this was one of the most amazing days of our trip. we began our journey in Fes and drove all the way to the Sahara! we ate an incredible breakfast at our Riad and then stopped a few times along the way to see the view (once to see monkeys on the side of the road!). it was breathtaking to drive through so many landscapes: from new england-like trees to red dunes. we found crystals inside of rock along the way. many many years ago the Sahara was an ocean in the Jurassic age! an experience i can't describe riding the camels deep into the desert with nothing around but sand dunes. we stayed at a camp in the middle of the desert and got to listen to traditional Moroccan music. hope you enjoy :) i know i'm living vicariously through this video
