Loud grinding shaking transmission bearings replacement Can you rebuild a newer washer transmission?

Y’all asked and I did it. I attempted to break into a sealed transmission and replace the bearings. In this video I go over if it’s possible to break into a new style transmission. These type of washers are called BMWs or pause/play machines. It took me a long time to figure out how to open this sealed transmission and this washer. The biggest problem was it was riveted together. I hope this video helps someone because if you watch it you know it is not possible to replace the bearings as far as I could tell. It definitely is not worth the time to even attempt this and I hope to save someone else sometime. This transmissions in several different washers including whirlpool Kenmore Crosley Amana roper and Estate. I was very disappointed to find out that I could get all the way into this transmission and that I could not get the top bearing off. Even though it took a lot of time I did get the bottom bearing off but because the top bearing is closest to the top of the shaft of the washer it probably is more likely to go bad. I would not go through all this trouble and just replace the bottom bearing. I hope this video help someone and at least it will scratch the edge of what is inside these transmissions.
