TieBreak – FINAL (Wimbledon) – Expert (EA6) / Unforced Errors Key / Maria Sakkari

FINAL Wimbledon / Sakkari vs Swiatek – 6-1 6-1 (Expert) Hi all, I’m a casual gamer that mainly plays FM, but after finding this gem of a game I’ve decided to upload some TieBreak content for viewing. This will be following my progress in my first Career Tournament playing on the Expert Difficulty (I’ve progressed from easy, to now dipping my toes into Expert). So for me this is quite a challenge, and I’m finding this at about the right level for my amateurish skills. So my game style tries to keep things simple, serve & volley. This is also my first time playing on the fine Wimbledon grass. I’m also going through the career mode with the Greek Goddess Maria Sakkari. Upon full release, my plan is to create my own player and play the men’s career mode. -- Swiatek was my opponent in this final. I started off a bit shakily, but once I warmed up my grass game which has improved through the tournament was there, enjoying my serve and volley game and also retrieving some tough balls that came back. This led to a somewhat comfortable final scoreline of 6-1 both sets. ** On a personal note, compared to the difficulty of the GS final on Clay especially where the AI was more challenging, this was a little disappointing from a competitive perspective. Overall on the grass tournament, the AI made too many underarm serves. This compared to not one single underarm serve faced at Roland Garros in all rounds played. My results were better in this tournament, but I think that in part is due to my game being more suited to Wimbledon rather than the clay. The rallies weren’t as punishing, and I was able to end the points at times, a little bit quicker and I was a lot more comfortable retaining my net position. There was also only once single Ace from Swiatek in this final compared to 8 aces from Garcia on the Clay. Given Grass is more of a surface suited for Aces, I would like to see a greater difficulty level that reflects this.
