🇬🇧 Gabi developed his own versions of many coin magic plots such as coins through the table, coins to the glass,… for many of them he had several versions. This is the only coins across routine he regularly performed, at least in the last years of his life, and it is arguably one of the most beautiful versions of this plot ever.  We want to especially highlight the extremely high level of Economy and Clarity of this piece. Economy refers, from the Internal point of view, to the efficient use of resources, moves and sleights, while Clarity, from the external point of view, refers to the quality of being intelligible, pure and with nothing superfluous that can distract or confuse the spectator.  According to Arturo de Ascanio, you could and should improve both economy and clarity up to a point where you no longer can improve one without deteriorating the other. At this point the decision of improving one a little more over the other rests on the creator’s personal tastes or artistic intentions. Getting to that theoretical point is the goal when composing a piece because it means the construction is optimum. This is what is called the balance of Economy and Clarity.  This routine achieves levels of Clarity and Economy which are really hard to match. Gabi accomplishes this feat by combining a really efficient method structure, the most clever selection of the sleights (including his personal handling of the Click Pass and Miguel Gomez’s handling of the Gallo Pitch, arguably the most sophisticated take on that move) and also out of the box ideas like the concept of the “coin ghost ” or “the hole” for the last transposition. The “coin ghost” solves a very delicate moment or a weakness from the internal point of view while at the same time making the external life much more beautiful and providing this sensation of completeness and closure. Enjoy this thing of beauty.  🇪🇸 Gabi desarrolló sus propias versiones de muchos clásicos de la magia con monedas, como monedas a través de la mesa, monedas al vaso… para muchas de ellas tenía incluso varias versiones. En este caso se trata de monedas de mano a mano, esta rutina es la única versión que realizó regularmente, al menos los últimos años de su vida, y podría decirse que es una de las versiones más hermosas jamás creada. Queremos destacar especialmente el altísimo nivel de Economía y Claridad de esta pieza. La Economía se refiere, desde el punto de vista interno, al uso eficiente de los recursos, movimientos y técnicas, mientras que la Claridad, desde el punto de vista externo, se refiere a la cualidad de ser inteligible, puro y sin nada superfluo que pueda distraer o confundir al espectador. Según Arturo de Ascanio, se puede y se debe mejorar tanto la economía como la claridad hasta un punto en el que ya no se puede mejorar una sin deteriorar la otra, en este punto la decisión de mejorar una un poco más sobre la otra recae en el gusto o intenciones artísticas del autor. Llegar a ese punto teórico es el objetivo al componer una pieza porque significa que la construcción es óptima. Esto es lo que se llama el Equilibrio Economía y Claridad. Esta rutina logra niveles de Claridad y Economía realmente difíciles de igualar. Gabi lo consigue combinando una estructura interna realmente eficiente, la selección más inteligente de las técnicas (incluido su manejo personal del Click Pass y el manejo de Miguel Gómez del Gallo Pitch, posiblemente la versión más sofisticada de ese movimiento) y también ideas brillantes y pensamiento lateral como el concepto del "fantasma" o "agujero" para la última transposición. La “moneda fantasma” resuelve un momento muy delicado o una debilidad desde el punto de vista interno y al mismo tiempo hace que la vida externa sea mucho más bella brindando esa sensación de plenitud y cierre.
