ECHOBERYL (live) (Paris, France) Echoberyl is an electronic / darkwave duo from Paris formed at the end of 2018 by Cecilia Dassonneville (voice, stories, videos) and Adriano Iacoangeli (programming, guitars), with the collaboration of Ari (lyrics). Their music is influenced by some classics like New Order and Depeche Mode but also by soundtracks like "You and the Night" by M83, the atmosphere of David Lynch's movies, the light voice of french 60s singer France Gall. The delicate voice of Cecilia mixes with Adriano's mesmerizing composition. Combining strength and fragility, their music is a cry of pain and a hope of appeasement. Songs full of fascinating, scary, sensual, multifaceted female characters to reflect on the present and on our destiny.   Their first album, "Apparition" (2019), received good critical acclaim, getting them named "Band of the day" by Post-Punk.com and Prémo.fr magazines. Their sophomore album, "The Awakening of a Mutant Girl" (2020), is an homage to sci-fi B-movies from the 50s and 60s and a concept album telling the story of a young woman discovering that she is a mutant. Eventually, the Aliens, who share her DNA, come to pick her up.Echoberyl third album, "Mother Solitude and Other Dark Tales" (released via their own label Mother Solitude Records) is the first of a new phase of their artistic path.
