Today, Mrs. Rebecca and Papa Rory teach the kids about the process of book writing... and how ideas go from ideas to story to art. All of this is in advance of Monday's #NationalAuthorsDay. --- Today, we're sad to inform you that the LIVE portion of The One Room Schoolhouse educational project from Hardison Mill Homestead School will not continue at this time due to funding limitations. It has been a blessing to see at home learners of all ages and stages join our daily life lessons. A big thank you goes out to our lovely guest teachers, as well as Mrs. Rebecca, Papa Rory, the production team who have helped make this project possible. Remember that “school” can happen anywhere YOU might be. We look forward to sharing when we can in the near future. In the meantime, learn more about "Hardison Mill Homestead School" at https://www.hardisonmillschoolhouse.com -- It's "The One Room Schoolhouse" the whole world can fit in. This educational project is launched in fall of 2020 and is designed to bring lessons out of our classroom and into your homes... and around the world. We have folks of all ages and stages who tune in to watch and learn alongside the students at Hardison Mill Homestead School. It runs daily for one hour (9am CT / 10am ET) and features a variety of guest teachers, lesson topics, and more! Remember, school doesn't have to be in a building with teachers and desks. And we are ALL "life-long learners." School can happen anywhere YOU might be.
