Follow the first part of this epic journey with DB Cargo. Driver Lee Yarker takes us over the Calder Valley and through Manchester via the notorious “Miles Platting Bank”. After that we go over the Atherton Line to Wigan before we enter the “Kirby Branch”. We stop and collect the token at Rainford which allows into the single line. You can then watch Lee set this leviathan back into the Freight Terminal and then see the actual “run around” and coupling procedure when the train is prepared for the return journey.
