The Price for these packs run around $140 - $160 depending the color and size that you choose. 34 liter bag or 2000 cubic inches worth of space Light weight: 2lbs 14 oz. Almost exactly the same as the Stratos 34 pack but with some additional space obviously. Features a large mesh panel backpanel which they call 'AirSpeed' which offers excellent airflow. This will help you stay very dry even on the hottest and more strenuous of treks. This is what I would consider a very good day hike bag but I could see this being used for an ultra light hiker and could be pushed to an overnight bag and to an extreme multiday. It really depends on what you are willing to go without and what you feel comfortable with. Top loading bag with access from the front. It is hydration compatible and has a nice bladder support buckle to keep the bladder from sagging. Lots of compression straps to adjust your load. It does have an ice axe attachment and this can be used from other gear as well...such as your hiking poles. 6 pockets ; 2 on the lip, front main pocket. 2 hip belt pockets and one small pocket on the harness. Does come with an integrated raincover in the bottom of the pack. Also features the stow-on-the-go trekking pole attachment .... I have really put this pack through it's paces over the last year. In the last couple of weeks it has seen 45 miles of use. I did a 30 mile night hike two weeks back and a 15 mile day hike just the other day. If you would like to see this pack in action make sure to check out the Tanawha Day hike video. Very comfortable. Light. Allows for good air flow. Back will stay almost completely dry due to the great mesh airspeed backpanel. The harness doesn't breathe well at all. It will leave you nice and wet after a few hard miles of trekking. I dislike the balance of the pack; due to the frame and the design of the pack, all of the weight pulls the pack over. I like for my packs to have the ability to sit upright so I can get what I need from the pockets and from the main compartment. With this bag constantly falling over it's a real aggravation. Overall these are the only negatives. It's still a great pack though and you could do a lot worse. Comfortable. Great quality. Lots of useful features. Awesome airflow.
