(exclusive Tokyo discount offers) You can compare Japanese ParaPara dancing to American Line dancing, but on steroids, and the event has a very unique atmosphere that is unmatched in the world. Many ParaPara fanatics fly in from all over the world, namely USA, Brazil, Hong Kong, England and the Netherlands to join the festivities. We started the day with a practice warm-up at Yoyogi park in central Tokyo. After which we headed for Sumire in the fashion district of Tokyo; Shibuya for an epic Izakaya dinner party to feast on some of my favorite Japanese dishes, Eihire (Grilled Stingray). Luckily, the izakaya (Sumire) had enough seating space since our ParaPara friends from Hong Kong showed up to the dinner party as well. Have you ever heard of the Wasabi Maki Challenge? Apparently, it is a common practice here in Japan which will give you a well needed wake-up boost after a long night of drinking. It was so much fun seeing and chatting with everyone again that we always end up departing for the festival too late. We ran into even more friends at Shin-kiba train station to have yet another warm-up routine, since Dave Rodgers was performing live we choice his song; Kingdom of Rock. The most hilarious routine was on the subway, dancing to Derrick Simons - Station to Station, a true classic! Agefarre never ceases to amaze me, the venue is absolutely packed with some of the nicest people I've ever met at a party.
