ITV Schools Junction - March 1982 (mock/reconstruction)

A recreation of how an ITV Schools junction may have looked in the Spring Term of 1982, week commencing 22nd March, the last week of term due to an early Easter. The slides that term appeared to be children's artwork, possibly from the Cadbury's National Exhibition. This picture shows a card game in progress and was the final slide used that term. The music is Spring to Life 2 by Steve Gray (different edits of the full track were used over the slide and the clock), Martin's Rag (aka Cravat), badly edited down the broadcast version by myself, and a short version of The Falcon (aka Tennessee Railroad) both by Martin Kershaw. I believe other Kershaw tracks featured on the interval tape, but were rarely, if ever, broadcast. Physics in Action and Insight feature here, although these episodes were chosen at random and not necessarily broadcast that week - nor were they scheduled back to back. A little sync jump going into Insight, and if you look carefully you'll see a brief glimpse of the 1970s YTV ident. YTV played out their new ident 'live' (effectively covering up the outdated one), but this normally resulted in a rather clumsy cut/mix into the programme.
