He has rendered film songs in several Indian languages and has many chart hits. He is involved in Gujarati film scoring and has released a number of singles. His recent performance include the Gujarat Titans' anthem Aava De during the IPL 2023. Achint Thakkar is a music composer and guitarist who has worked on various web series and films, such as Scam 1992, Rocket Boys, Maska and Monica, O My Darling. He is also known for creating his own solo album, Shalimar, in 2015  He started his musical journey with the psychedelic band Rosemary, and later collaborated with other artists such as Mikey McCleary and Dhruv Viswanath. He is a fan of retro music composers such as R.D. Burman, S.D. Burman, Shankar-Jaikishan and others 1. He is based in Mumbai and graduated from Mithibai College.
