For one big reason, Spinosaurus is probably one of the most fought about topics in Paleontology! It seems like what we think we know about these animals changes at least every six months! Many other content creators have agreed with me that because of this consistent change, as well as how much Spinosaurus fans like to fight about it, that it just isn't worth the headache to talk about this group of Theropods. (I attempted to warn Clint's Reptiles to avoid talking about this, so he responded by making an in depth video about the Phylogeny of this family...) But anyway, a new species of Spinosaur was recently described! So I decided this seems like a good time to go against my better judgment and join the fight by making my first Spinosaurid video!
