Our first stop on our crazy Moroccan street food tour was to try the popular Moroccan food of hargma. This classic dish is made up of slow cooked beef trotters in a rich broth full of chickpeas, definitely a rich dish to start the day. Being on the coast, we had to try fresh fish in Agadir, so we tasted the popular Agadir street food of freshly grilled sardines. Afterwards, we continued our Moroccan food tour to explore Souk El Had, Africa’s largest indoor souk. This souk is massive, full of Moroccan street food, shopping, fruits and veggies, you name it this souk has it! While we were there, we sampled some of the Agadir street food, like za3za3 and briouats. Africa’s largest indoor souk was full of many tastes, flavours, and deliciously yummy treats. The last stop on our crazy street food tour in Agadir, Morocco was at a shop near the souk that does some crazy tagines. We stopped in for a Moroccan cow brain tajine cooked by the chef Rachid. As far as foods to eat in Morocco go, this is one you must try! The Moroccan cow brain is fried up then finished in the tagine with fresh bread, a tasty and flavourful dish.
