Armstrong and Miller revive their famous RAF Pilot characters

Armstrong and Miller revive their famous RAF Pilot characters Watch our video to see Armstrong and Miller down the pub as their famous RAF pilot's characters Comedy duo Armstrong and Miller, well known for their RAF airmen characters who speak in 'street lingo', have revived their characters and collaborated on a new guide to modern slang. Millions of us now use LOL, sik and selfie in everyday language, while golly gosh, toff and spiffing slowly slip into conversational annals, which is well sik innit. If you are struggling to understand what we just said, you may need to brush up on your street slang. To help those of us who need help moving into the 21st century, Spitfire Ale have teamed up with Tony Thorne, British Author and Lexicographer to create a guide to modern slang which also tracks the evolution of slang from the 16th century right though to today. The guide launched by comedians 'Armstrong and Miller' at the Horse and Groom in Belgravia -- the UK's poshest pub (in the shadow of Buckingham Palace) which goes 'street' for the month with everything from chalkboards to welcome signs translated in to the most popular modern day slang.
