Die Baureihe 44 mit ihren drei Zylindern - es ist einfach DIE deutschte Güterzugdampflok. Mit keiner anderen Baureihe verbindet man schwere Güterzüge wie mit diesem Kraftpaket. Vom 26. - 28. September durfte die Nördlinger 44 2546-8 (Bayerisches Eisenbahnmuseum) mal wieder zeigen, was noch heute in ihr steckt. Im Rahmen des Plandampfs "Schwerer Güterverkehr im Wandel der Zeit" bespannte sie zwei Holzzüge von Nördlingen nach Wilburgstetten. ----------------------------- The wood has to go to Wilburgstetten! | 44 2546 in front of heavy freight trains | Plandampf (4K) The class 44 with its three cylinders - it is simply THE German steam freight locomotive. As part of the Plandampf "Heavy goods traffic through the ages", it pulled two wooden trains from Nördlingen to Wilburgstetten.
