2019 CSSHL U18 Prep Finals - NAX vs OHA ED - Extended Game Highlights - Stand Out Sports

This game featured Okanagan Hockey Academy Edmonton (Edmonton, Alberta)and Northern Alberta Xtreme (Edmonton, Alberta). In a game laden with first round WHL Draft Picks and future stars, NAX jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. Savoie (University of Denver) and Guenther (2018 WHL 1st Overall Pick, Edmonton Oil Kings) combined for 9 points. This game solidified the Northern Alberta's dominance (as a region) of male hockey in Western Canada and NAX's ability to buy in and lock it down as a program. They're a well oiled machine and will continue to be for years to come. As time goes on, it will be interesting to see if regional dominance in the West will be a recurring theme or will other programs emerge to put a dent in the status quo. Yale BP did it...
