Meghan Markle has reportedly been left “in tears” over the constant criticism her lifestyle brand receives. American Riviera Orchard was revealed in March with a cinematic video starring Markle in her California Montecito mansion. The brand is set to go live later this year and will feature items such as kitchen goods, fragrances, jams, preserves and furniture. Royal expert and author Tom Quinn spoke to The Mirror about Markle’s sadness over the backlash her new brand received. “The one fly in the ointment is Meghan’s new internet brand, America Riviera Orchard,” he said. “Meghan was in tears when the brand launched and her new jam was widely mocked for being expensive and nothing special.”
