The client, Josh sent an email saying how he wanted his leg and arm tattooed. At the time I declined the leg and said yes to the arm arm. He was very inspired by my past armour tattoos. Armour of rams, armour of wryms and the Skaldlind, A mixture of the stringent and scale like pieces, contrasting with the looser dynamics of the Skaldlind, ala Jelling & Ringerike styled pieces. I aimed for a medieval touch, segments of armour, as opposed to one fluid piece. As Josh mentioned world of warcraft and dungeons and dragons, I allowed myself to fall back into those kinds of designs, looking at those inspired designs and implemented this accordingly.
