This has been one of my favourite video game songs for a long time since I heard familyjules' cover 10 years ago. I was instantly hooked by the melody and was possibly one of the videos that inspired me to pick up the guitar. A much more chill version suits my playing style though and I decided to add some lo-fi elements to it to complement the chill style. I picked this track after re-visiting the FF VII score recently as Pixel Mixers are planning a FF VII rebirth album and after picking out some potential tracks I wanted to claim on the album, I decided I didn't want to wait to cover this track :) Uploading it in May, I'm also able to enter the #SoundoleChillOut2024 this year with it!
