If Terra is unavailable, Celes must take her place. If both are unavailable, it's business as usual. 3. Terra must beat all bosses herself, including in Kefka's tower. 4. Magic rods found in chests may be used as items, but no other rods may be used 5. No espers may be equipped on any character. 6. Terra (and every other character, for that matter) may only use magic she learns on her own. If equipment causes her to learn a spell and she learns that spell naturally, she may not use that spell until she reaches the level at which she learns it natively.
