Ah yes, another powerful redheaded woman and her confused brunette man for me to ship! So, I finished watching Anne with an E for the first time with my younger sisters on Wednesday, and let me tell you, I'm obsessed! This show is just so wholesome and beautiful and I absolutely loved it! I was particularly involved with the enemies to lovers slowburn of three seasons between Anne and Gilbert! Honestly, it was done so tastefully considering their characterizations. The ending of the last episode was perfect for them! In other news, I decided earlier this week to check out the majority of Lord Huron's discography, since I like a few of their more niche songs. Let me tell y'all, I was not disappointed! I loved almost every one of the songs I listened to! There is a chance that I may edit with more of their songs in the future! When I listened to The Ghost on the Shore for the first time this Thursday, I couldn't help but think of these two. The moment that sold me on making this edit was when the harmonica instrumental lined up in my mind with the bonfire ruins scene when Anne is dancing and Gilbert is watching her. And look, I know that this song is technically about death, but c'mon, the vibes are literally screaming Anne Shirley Cuthbert and Gilbert Blythe vibes to me! What was I supposed to do?
