Due to a recent hailstorm, the Swiss Miniatur Park in Switzerland has been damaged and is currently closed. To give you an impression what you can see there when the repair work is complete, we welcome you to this episode of #matildavisits , #leanderlive and #heidisholidays from this destination in Switzerland. Swissminiatur is Switzerland’s largest open-air miniature museum and was founded in 1959. Located in Melide, on the shores of Lake Lugano, the park is surrounded by Monte Generoso, San Salvatore and also San Giorgio in the state of Ticino. Creating videos of our family trips is my way of preserving memories for our children Heidi, Leander and Matilda. It also helps us to share our experiences in Europe with the rest of the family that lives in Australia. Since 2015 I have created over 180 episodes of Matilda visits from around the world.
