川下公園🪻ライラックの森 Kawashimo Park 🪻Lilac Forest 〜札幌 北海道20240610 Sapporo HOKKAIDO 川下公園のライラックの収集は、札幌の気候に適した品種の選定を行い、その多くはカナダのロイヤル・ボタニカル・ガーデンズから枝の供給を受け、接ぎ木によって増殖したもので、このほかにアメリカ、中国、ドイツ等からも収集しています。早咲きは5月中旬から咲き始め、遅咲きが終花する7月上旬までの約1ヶ月半の間におおよそ200種類のライラックの花が次々に咲き、公園中にリラの香りを漂わせます。 モクセイ科ハシドイ属［学　 名］　Syringa（シリンガ）［和　 名］　ハシドイ、金衝羽（きんつくばね）［英　 名］　lilac（ライラック）、pipe tree（パイプツリー）等［仏　 名］　lila（リラ）［中国名］　丁香（チョウコウ） Within the park is the "Lilac Forest", which boasts anoverwhelmingly large scale for a domestic park. There are 200 types of lilac from all over the world, with around 1700 plants in full bloom throughout the beautiful, lilac scented space. Parks with such a diversity of lilacs are a rarity, even globally. Lilac Forest Lilac was chosen as a tree suitable for Sapporo City in 1960.Lilac is usually at its best from late May to early June, when the sight of plant after plant coming into full bloom in the park is magical and beautiful, including in the Lilac Forest. The scent drifting through the park is another attraction.
