2006 Kia Sportage intermittent or no blinker and flasher.

My 2006 Kia Sportage blinker was intermittent and flashing only a few times and stopping it not at all. It was the same for both right and left. It turned out to be the Electronic Flasher module that is located under the dash on the right passenger side of the steering column. The plastic dash cover under the steering wheel needs to be taken off with a couple screws and unsnap the clips at the top. The OEM relay is press clipped to a metal tab and can be slid off. The aftermarket relay I used from AutoZone is a Novita EP34 Electronic Flasher module. I got one from Advanced Auto but it didn't work and they took it back. There is more info in the video.
