Tongue Drum, Slit Drum song: "Seaward Rapids"

This is an original composition that I composed on a Thiele B-major 9-key Wooden Tongue Drum that I play in the relative minor. I often prefer playing with my hands rather than a pair of mallets. The use of any number of fingers enables me to produce more harmonies, chords and even dynamics. Although not as loud, I find the resulting sound sweeter and warmer. This song, for me, calls forth the image of a raucous river yet making its way to a more tranquil sea.
