Hey World Creators! Today we explore the area in and around the small Bavarian town of Garmsich-Partenkirchen! This iconic German hot spot is know for its beautiful mountains views and proximity to the Zugspitze (the tallest mountain Germany) and the Eibsee. Garmisch is a perfect destination for all seasons. It is well known for its skiing in the winter and its many hiking and mountaineering trails. The town itself is quite quaint and beautiful as well. It was originally two small villages, Garmisch & Partenkirchen, the two villages eventually grew into one town. There is beautiful artwork and architecture all over in both parts of town. The builds have traditional artwork on the exterior that is rumored to have been the occupation of the original inhabitants of the buildings. The highlight of the my trip to Garmisch was my visit to the Zugspitze and the Eibsee. You can take a cable car to "The Top of Germany!" On top, if it is a clear day, you can see over 400 peaks in 4 different countries. There is food available and you can even do a short little climb up to the tippy top to take your photo atop Germany. Once you come down from your mountain high you take it easy and spend some time on one of the most beautiful Alpine lakes you will ever see, the Eibsee! Other videos call it The Caribbean of Germany" and you can see why, the water is incredibly clear and BLUE!
