Officially, Grounded is a game that follows Max, a boy who wakes up no larger than an ant, on their journey through an expansive yard in order to uncover the mystery behind their shrinking. Unofficially, Grounded is a documentary following the life of an average sub-6ft male as he tries to earn his place amidst a realm of giants. Also, there's a lizard involved. It's unclear whether he is supposed to fill the shoes of max through this story, or is in fact a completely separate character. The fact this is being written in the third person also isn't very helpful in clearing things up. Am I not the lizard? Or are the lizard and the man behind the lizard separate entities?
