Carstairs SIREN G TEST! Carstairs Village's State Hospital Siren

The July 2019 test of the Carstairs Village Secomak CS8 siren (better known as Klaxon CS8s despite being a Secomak design), designated as Siren G by the mrmattandmrchay State Hospital siren hunt. On my tour of the sirens, I went around seeing them in a rather strange order, with the intention of seeing the Tesco Express in Carstairs after the test was complete (it passed at 13:26). We started in Lanark at Siren I before driving north all the way to Forth (siren A), continuing through Braehead (B) and Carnwath (C) before reaching Carstairs. We found D and then tried to see E unsuccessfully through the back of the hospital, via a fence near a meadow/common in the village, before continuing to this siren (G). This video was only possible because of some well-timed good fortune. It was filmed by my older Canon Legria HFR57 (which has filmed a large number of videos on this channel), which was left in the driveway of a very kind homeowner whilst my dad and I went off to film the Ravenstruther siren, H. After the test, the camera was safely collected and we headed to finish the tour at siren F (Carstairs Juncton/Station), where we bumped into mrmattandmrchay who'd decided to film that siren (more on that later!).
