How to change Front suspension wishbone on Freelander & Other Cars.

Changing the front lower wishbone on a Freelander (some say control arm or just lower suspension arm): Fairly easy if you also have an angle grinder (disc cutter) to remove the rusted on rear shaft. Now that these cars have got to around 20 years old it would not be unusual to need to change the lower wishbones on the front, mainly to change the rubber boot on the balljoint, or some rust or some play. Other videos from others suggest leaving the rear bush attached to the body and hitting out the shaft attached to the suspension arm, but as discussed and shown in the video that is just a pain in the **** and a bad idea. Easier to do as I show and unbolt the rear bush and cut off the arm, if you have or can borrow a disc cutter / angle grinder, the bigger the better. The parts are very cheap, for instance around £52 for both suspension arms!
