I still feel my play was very sloppy and would need much more practice before I would be able to do harder more advanced strategies, but I feel somewhat satisfied with this run before leaving. Hopefully this will help give some insight on arcanist for maelstrom or in general for most content. I included what I used at the end of the video. I felt my RNG wasn’t the greatest in this run either so with better RNG it should look a lot cleaner. I did have faster runs but botched them from choking or not critting well, another thing is this class is very reliant on good crit RNG, with little crits the burns will look very slow like my dwarven spider boss. I think thrassian stranglers is better despite not using it here in the video, I mainly didn't out of frustration and my time crunch to post something to help people figure out a build or strategy as a start for score. Scalding rune and toggle may make the run significantly faster so using those 2 skills should help substantially. If I had to change things and had more time to practice I’d use thrassian and toggle instead of cruxweaver armor. Race change to khajiit and maybe try out ansul or coral riptide over Order’s WrathPc gear swaps should help a bit mostly with bosses dying much much faster using acuity and balorgh. The ONE most important thing about this class though is crux management, with good crux uptime for fatecarver ad waves will go much much faster which is something I often forgot to keep in mind. If you do not have sul xan available a good alternative is either deadly strikes or leviathan If I had more time I’d probably be able to make this run 2-3 minutes faster pretty easily, but sadly I’ll be quitting for some time. I made this mostly for people to copy some basic settup for this class, but there is probably better just needs to be tested. A run I think would be good is a 618-619k for how strong the class is. I used ultimate generation potions here but I’ve gotten 616k without them as well so they are not needed, tri pots help a lot with survivability and immovability potions help a lot with any bad stun moments, with proper practice and planning this class is probably one of the easiest to push a score on.
