Tips for Pilot Fuel Screw Adjustment most 4-stroke MX Bikes Kehin FCR-MX Carburetor YZ250F YZ450F

Make sure you click the Thanks button if this video helped you. . This is the same for all Japanese 4-stroke with Keihin FCR-MX Carburetor. If you are still having trouble with your carburetor post a question and we will try to help you. But the simplest thing to tell you is 4 stroke mx bikes can be very difficult to resolve poor running issues. The 1st thing to look at is when is the last time you have disassembked, cleaned and fully rebuilt your carburetor. I recommend you do that first. And I don't mean just spraying some carb clean in there and calling it A day. You need to completely disassemble this item, and inspect each jet for blockage. If your pilot jet is blocked, your bike will not start easily, and it will run like crap. Other things to inspect are your leak jet, your needle, your throttle pump timing, and basically everything relating to the interior of your cooperator. Other things of note will be your exhaust crush gaskets. There are 2 of them. Just Google it or look into your service manual. Also you should repack your exhaust silencer. If it has never been done, I highly recommend it. Another thing to inspect will be the hot start mechanism. Make sure it is clean and functions properly, and has a recent O ring in the plunger in the top of your carburetor. Aside from that, always follow your service manual for valve adjustment and top end rebuild schedules. These 4-strokes require frequent top end jobs. So if you have been 50 hours without a top end rebuild, I would start there. If you are not familiar with how to work on these bikes I highly recommend you hire a professional mechanic. This will save you tons of hassle frustration and costold frustration and cost. SEE OUR LINKS BELOW Feel free to support the channel via PayPal.
