The “Anihlatr” YZ500 project was made possible by working close with Riley and the crew at BRC Racing in Canada that have introduced a brand-new 500cc engine that utilizes the OEM YZ250 case’s bolt pattern, transmission and other miscellaneous OEM Yamaha items, allowing the engine to be used in a 1999–2024 YZ250 chassis with minor radiator modifications. Pretty impressive! The BRC Racing Canada YZM500 two-stroke engine kit includes everything except the donor YZ250 transmission, which is needed to complete the engine package. It’s fully equipped with a counterbalancer, exhaust valve and billet crankshaft assembly. The YZM500 kit even includes an exhaust system and new outlets for the needed radiator modifications.
