A beautiful location called Gal Oya, a low land, dry zone region that is flanked by mountains ripe for hiking and surprisingly lush! The area is home to the first inhabitant Veddah tribes of Sri Lanka that moved from Danigala to Gal Oya during the construction of the Senanayake Samudraya.
