"Maybe you wonder what your future's gonna be, but I got it all locked up." This project has been in the works for FOUR MONTHS! I'm thrilled it's finally out in the public eye. I've always loved the Luffy vs. Katakuri fight, especially the anime's portrayal, and as soon as I watched League of Legends' incredible TAKE OVER music video, the AMV practically storyboarded itself! Make sure you go watch the original video if you haven't already, it's super well animated! In case it isn't clear enough based on how this is edited, this is showing the ebbs and flows of the fight from Katakuri's perspective. It's also important to note that this started development after I started work on Skippy's new intro. In crafting that project, I really dove deep into rhythmic timing and rotoscoping, and the fruits of that labor are really evident here. Go check Skippy out!
