From DRILLS to SKILLS: teaching how to corner!

#mountainbikecornering #jeffkendallweedvlog #mountainbiketutorial When I really got into mountain bike racing back in the early 2000s, I knew it’d be key to understand how to corner fast. Trying to imitate how the motocross guys would train, I ended up doing lots and lots of cornering drills, usually on slippery surfaces, focusing on a technique that was repeatable, predictable, and fast. I’ve got a strong BMX background, so I figured, “Why not turn corners into a chance to pump the bike as well?” I can’t say that I have the “best” technique, as I’ve definitely seen a few other cornering styles that are just as valid, but this style has worked awesome for me over the years!
