There were 7 total installments in the Mario & Luigi series, a sub-series of the Mario series in the form of a turn-based RPG. After Superstar Saga, Partners in Time, Bowser's Inside Story, Dream Team, Paper Jam, and then the remakes, the developers, ALPHADREAM shut down. It's been almost 4 years since, and while nothing new has popped up yet, I do argue that the series will indeed continue, despite many fans claiming the series is now dead.
